Project Details

The project involved the external refurbishment of a 5 storey high maritime control building. Extensive concrete repairs were undertaken, anti carbonisation coatings applied to soffits and new cladding system installed over the fluted, exposed aggregate, insitu panels.

Product Selection:

The work was carried utilising a selection of products to meet the clients needs. Belzona 4141 Magma Build was utilised for all concrete repairs for its ability to be featheredged without debonding. MC Emce Colourflex was used as the selected anti carbonisation coating, manufactured to special order to match the profile steel sheet systems selected RAL colour.

Interesting points:

Working within a tight timescale, the external refurbishment was completed in time for the official opening by HRH The Princess Royal.
